Background
In 1996, FilmFour International changed its name to Channel Four Films for a short time.
Logo (May 24, 1996-1999)
Visuals: On a dark background, filled with greenish sun blinks is the white text "CHANNEL FOUR FILMS" slowly zooming in. Then, the left side of a big "4" zooms from beyond and takes "FOUR" inside, making it black. The number is made from two bars and a dot.
Variant: There is a shortened version on Brassed Off.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A dark but good ambient soundtrack with ascending booming near to the end.
Availability:
- It's seen on Brassed Off, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Secrets & Lies. It was originally seen on the 1998 film Croupier, but subsequent releases (even the earlier DVDs) plaster it with the Film4 logos.
- It was also seen again on an unknown film in 1999.
