Background

China 3D Digital Entertainment Limited is a Hong Kong-based film production company founded in 2001 by Stephen Jr. Shiu Ting-yat, son of Stephen Shiu Yeuk-yuen. It later purchased assets of HMV's Hong Kong business and renamed as HMV Digital China Group Ltd in 2016. It later renamed as China Creative Digital Entertainment Ltd in 2019.

The company had also purchased most of the shares of home video distributor Panorama Entertainment in 2017, and became China 3D's subsidiaries.

1st Logo (2011-2017)

Nicknames: "General! Wrong Flag!"

Logo: On a black background,we see glasses flying, then we see a general. Then he waves a modified Chinese flag, then the companies name wipe in.

Variants: One exists with the music from the logo of Johnny Mak Production (the company which its founder/film director Johnny Mak, who was the frequent collaborator of Stephen Shiu Sr. in 1970s to 1990s), but with a modernized synthesizer mix.

FX/SFX: The glasses spinning, the general waving the flag,the general picking up the glasses,the text appearing.

Availability: Rare,seen only on 2 movies.

2nd Logo (2017-)

Nicknames: "General! Wrong Flag! II"

Logo: On a black background, the same general is putting the glasses ,and then waves the same modified Chinese flag. The name of the company wipes in.

FX/SFX: The man puting glasses on his face,the general waving the flag, the text wiping in.

Availability: Frequent, since China 3D's movie release from 2016.

Editor's Note: This logo was used after the company purchased the assets of HMV's Hong Kong business.
