Background
The Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival is a film festival in the Philippines.
1st Logo (2005-2014)
Visuals: The sun comes into us and fades in. Then, there is a boat with a blue sail zooming. After that, the screen zooms out to reveal the blue sail with a yellow and a red one behind it, with waving flame strokes at the stop of each sail. Then, the word "Cinemalaya" in a blue handwritten font blurs in, before the black text "Philippine Independent Film Festival" fades in.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: A windchime sound effect at the beginning, followed by a low, humming synth theme. Another windchime is heard, as a rising mallet arpeggio with a different synth note is then heard.
Availability: Can be seen on the company's early indie films.
2nd Logo (2014-)

Visuals: There is a spotlight appear rotating in the dark, revealing a grainy background and a film camera with mechanical legs. The spotlight moves, as the film camera walks and runs into the light, followed by other copies of the same film camera moving behind it. One of the camera's pieces has human legs, and each element falls down as it reveals an human body. Other cameras with human legs appear jumping into the right, as each sail from the previous logo, in blue, yellow and red consecutively, appear growing out next to the cameras' lenses. Waves appear in the bottom as a boat containing the "Cinemalaya" wordmark along with "Philippine Independent Film Festival" appears riding on one of the waves, with three cameras with mechanical legs standing above it. The boat settles as the sails grow out next to each camera. Flame strokes come out from above the sails while the cameras face up. Then the boat and waves zoom in and move out from the right, as the background changes into a white background having the Cinemalaya logo's text in blue. The sails zoom out and settle above the text, and the flame strokes wave.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: Same as before, but mechanical sound effects have been added, like a film projector sound and metallic hitting noises.
