Background

Cinematt Pictures was a Hindi film production company.

Logo (April 30, 1999)

Visuals: On a black background with several zooming particles, the camera travels above a wavy filmstrip with pictures of actresses faintly shown on the frames. Two lights appear from the sides and reveal the rest of the path, and then stop moving and merge into a brighter yellow light as the path reaches its end. The logo of the company can be briefly seen below the light as the flash takes over the screen, and then it appears zooming back, consisting of two inter-connected triangles with another red triangle shown at the middle point, and the golden serif-typeface text "CINEMATT" and "PICTURES", of which the former is being overtaken by rays of light. The lights then diminish once the logo settles, and "PRESENTS" in a curved sans typeface fades in below the logo.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: Rollercoaster sounds during the 1st half of the logo, leading to a dramatic orchestral buildup with flashing sounds during the reveal. The music ends on a loud orchestra hit.

Availability: The logo can be seen in Sarfarosh.
