1st Logo (October 25, 1978-August 7, 1981)


Visuals: On a black background is a letter "C", connected to an "i" next to it, which is sticking down, and a reversed "C" appears next to the "i" which resembles a "P". It's all in gold, and in 3-D.

Variant: On Halloween, the following text is above the logo:

COMPASS INTERNATIONAL
PICTURES
RELEASE

Everything is 2-D and in a yellow-orange color.

Technique: A printed image made using traditional ink and paint.

Audio: The opening theme.

Availability: Can be seen on Compass International releases such as Halloween and The Day Time Ended.


2nd Logo (March 1, 1979-August 28, 1981)


Visuals: On a blue background, a compass zooms out to top left, which later fades out to the CiP from the previous logo, but this time in white, along with the text "Compass International Pictures" wipes next to it. The logo goes down, leaves a couple of trails, which later the center trail wipes out to give place for a black arrow that reads "A New Direction", and a rectangle with a half forefinger-pointing hand in the right, which the rectangle reads "ON COURSE FOR THE 80's AND BEYOND!", which both slide from left to right, in each turn.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Nocturna, the Granddaughter of Dracula and Hell Night.
