Background

Founded in August 2006 by Constantin Kikichev and Vyacheslav Mugurov as Kinoconstanta, it was a Russian production company engaged in the production of television series, sketch shows and entertainment shows for TV channels like STS. The company was acquired in December 2007 by STS Media and was renamed into Costafilm due to the requirements of the deal. In 2011, Costafilm was merged with Soho Media to create the Story First Production studio, which was later closed in December 2013 by the STS Media holding.
