(January 2-March 26, 1988) Crawleys (1988)

Logo: On a dark blue grid against a navy blue gradient background, we see the word "crawleys" all in lower-case Helvetica/Rail Alphabet. beside the text, to our right, is the Crawleys symbol, which looks across between a semi-quaver and an eye. Both the text and the symbol have drop-down shadows. When the logo starts, a yellow star shines in the "pupil" of the eye before disappearing.

FX/SFX: The star shining and disappearing.

Variant: On Meerkats, a long version is used in which the eye zoom out and the text was moving. After that, the normal animation play.

Music/Sounds: The second half of the Atkinson Film-Arts jingle. On Meerkats, same as Atkinson Film-Art jingle.

Availability: Rare. Was originally seen only on S2 episodes of Dennis The Menace (the 1986 series), but sadly is not retained on recent airings of said show. The logo can be found on the UK VHS "Menaced Marriage and 7 other madcap episodes".

Editor's Note: The animation is rather cheap, and the logo is off-center. There isn't much in the way of animation, but the music may get to some. Some may also be unnerved by the look of the symbol and the positioning of the whole logo.
