Background

Datong Film Company (大同影片公司) was a Chinese film company in the 1940s founded by producer and filmmaker Zhang Shichuan, who also founded Dadi Film Company. It was established in Shanghai circa 1948.

1st Logo (1948)

Logo: We see a statue of a rearing horse on a round hill over an animated sunburst backdrop. The arched text "大同電影企業公司" (reading right-to-left) wipes in below on the round hill. "出品" fades in below (also reading right-to-left).
