Background

Digital Onset is a British film production company.

1st Logo (December 10, 2013, May 4, 2019)

Visuals: On a black background, "DIGITAL ONSET", in a light blue border, split by a horizontal bar, and with the "S" made up of two curves, appears through a glitch effect.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Sarah's Room and Far From the Apple Tree.

2nd Logo (December 24, 2014-June 22, 2017)

Visuals: On a black background, "DO" is shown to be made up of rainbow coloured horizontal bars, each of which having a white border. "DIGITAL ONSET" is below the large letters. The logo appears through static and the screen continues to sporadically glitch.

Variant: On Big Gold Dream, the logo is smaller and only the first static sequence is shown. Afterward, "In Association With Creative Scotland" faded in on the lower centre.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Muffled tape hissing sound effects.

Audio Variants:

  • The tape hiss may vary.
  • On Teenage Superstars, the tape hiss is shorter.

Availability: The logo is seen on Wigilia, Big Gold Dream, Night Kaleidoscope, and Teenage Superstars.
