Canal 8 Mar del Plata

1st Logo (198?-1988)

Canal 8 Mar del Plata (1987/A)Canal 8 Mar del Plata (1987/B)

Left: The channel's license. Right: The stations.

Note: No complete ID has been found. The first ID (used in middle 1980s) can be seen complete, can be seen here, but unfotunately, is in B/W. Although a portion can be seen here in full color (part of the portion is also used for the late 1980s variant).

Logo: We see far away , during the night, a city which is toned red/purple, and some searchlight appear moving. We move above it, to the sky, while the searchlight are still seen. A flash forms a blue "8". The station signal text ("L.R.I. 486 TV CANAL 8 Mar Del Plata") appear below it, placing below the number, and then moving out, while the other stations are presented: "CANAL 13 Tandil", "CANAL 45 Olavarria", "CANAL 13 Bolivar", "CANAL 6 De la Costa" and "CANAL 9 Benito Juarez".

Variant: The same ID was tweaked in late 1980s: The text for the station signal/license changed of font and color, being white and no italic. The station "Canal 12 General Guido" is now seen among the other stations. This was used when the station for General Guido was launched.

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: A majestic and somewhat omnious tune.

Availability: Extinct.

Canal 8 Mar del Plata (1994/A)Canal 8 Mar del Plata (1994/B)

Variant: There's a variant in which after the ID is "finished", there's a transition to a green map of Mar del Plata while the stations (representated by antennas and station names) appear one by one, with the Canal 8 logo.

FX/SFX: 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: A depressing synth theme with the announcer presenting the channel name and signal (and sometimes the stations)
