Background

Chiodo Bros. Productions, Inc. is a stop motion animation, puppet and special effects studio founded by brothers Stephen, Charles and Edward Chiodo in 1982. Their best-known works were for working on films like Pee-wee's Big Adventure and Elf (2003). They also made their own productions like Killer Klowns from Outer Space (the company's most famous production) and the Netflix Christmas special Alien Xmas (which was based on a book co-created by Stephen Chiodo). They did not have a logo until The Crayon Box premiered on September 26, 1997.
