Background
The Globus Group was an Israeli media conglomerate founded in 1964 by Israeli film producer Yoram Globus and his cousin, filmmaker Menahem Globan as the Golan-Globus Group. In 1989, Yoram purchased Menahem's shares in the group and was renamed to its current name. The company's distribution branch, Globus United was responsible for distributing titles from Warner Bros. and UIP in that region. The company shuttered in 2018.
