Background

Itogi (English: Results, Cyrillic: Итоги) was a news program based in Russia. The last issue of Itogi before the closure of TVS was shown on June 8, 2003. The last episode of Itogi in the history of the program, which was scheduled for June 22, did not go on the air due to the closure of the TV channel that took place earlier than the expected date.

1st Intro (January 5, 1992-1993)

Visuals: On a cloudy sky timelapse background, silver text "ит ги" zooms out while tilting slightly, as well as a golden globe model zooming in in the center. After they connect, purple and pink curved paint lines draw in.

Variant: Sometimes, a CGI fountain pen is shown flying in and drawing the black cursive word "Итоги" and settling below afterwards.

Technique: Live-action and computer animation. CGI for the variant.

Audio: A synth chord, followed by two pencil drawing sounds.

Audio Variant: An uplifting synth saxophone tune. The theme sometimes is rearranged with a somber xylophone theme.

2nd Intro (1993-1995)

Visuals: Unknown.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A majestic orchestral piece accompanied by whooshes and bells.
