Background
Maxis Communications, also known as Maxis Berhad in Malay, is a Malaysian telecommunications company. It is one of the oldest telecommunications companies from the country, founded in 1993.
Maxis currently operates in the national internet and mobile carrier businesses, with Draft:Hotlink covering their prepaid plans. Aside from Malaysia, Maxis has international operations in multiple countries from Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and South America.
