Background

MoonRay is an rendering software used by DreamWorks Animation to render their in-house 3D animated movie productions. In March 15, 2023, the software became open-source.

Logo (January 3, 2019-)

Visuals: There is an thin crescent with the text "MOONRAY" on it. The caption "RENDERED WITH" is seen on the top of the symbol.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the movie.

Availability: First debuted on How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, and has appeared on every film from DreamWorks Animation ever since.
