Background

One Cool Films is the film division of One Cool Group, founded in 2013.

Logo (April 3, 2014-)

Visuals: We start off with an shot of an rocky ground. There, it starts to crumble, revealing lava in it. A few seconds later, the camera cuts to an close up of the crumbling rocks. The camera then cuts to the lava rocks now flying, with flames on them. The camera then cuts to the rocks then attaching to them. We then cut to an zoom out of the rocks forming, which zooms out even more to reveal an flower like logo, with the company's name carved on seven stones. The logo shines.

Variants:

  • An later variant exists, where the flower is now different, with the company name under the symbol, with the text "ONE COOL FILM PRODUCTION LTD." fading in under the Chinese text.
  • On certain films like The Trough, the logo is shortened.
  • On Men on the Dragon and Tracey, the company name reads "One Cool Pictures".
  • An variant without the English company name is seen on Triumph in the Skies.
  • An still variant exists on Lazy Hazy Crazy, Raging Fire, and Anita.
  • An print variant exists on Heartfall Arises.
  • Another print variant exists on Meow, where the company name instead reads "ONE COOL CMC", and the Chinese text different.
  • At the end of The Mitchells vs. the Machines, the logo is in English and is illustrated in Katie-vision.
  • On Zero to Hero and Warriors of Future, the logo is in English, and it is still.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sounds of rock crumbling, which is followed by an dramatic synth note as the logo is revealed, followed by an faint whoosh. Otherwise, the opening/closing theme of the movie, or none.

Availability: The earlier variant appears on Naked Ambition 2 and Golden Chickensss, and with the later variant debuting on 12 Golden Ducks.
