Background

Overkill Software, based in Stockholm, was formed by Bo and Ulf Andersson after the bankruptcy of their previous development studio GRIN. After releasing Payday: The Heist in 2011 to modest success, they were acquired by Starbreeze Studios in 2013.

Logo: Unknown

Later Variant: The logo is colored white and "SOFTWARE" is replaced with the byline "A STARBREEZE STUDIO."

Technique: The logo flickering in on Payday: The Heist.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the game.

Availability: Seen on the Payday series (except the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Payday 2).
