Background: Polsat is a commercial television channel, which was the first in the country received a license to broadcast nationwide. Broadcasting began on Dec. 5 of 1992. Currently the channel is owned by the Polsat Group and it's the 2nd most watched channel in the country, between TVP1 and TVN.


1st Logo (1992-1994)

Nicknames: "Blue S of Doom", "Early Polsat"

Logo: Set against a blue starfield, a model of the Earth appear on the bottom-right corner and darkens while a white light appears behind. The Earth dissapears and the light goes to the center while transforming into a "S" made of blue ribbons. It spins and "POL" in blue, zooms out at the left of it. The cyan-like "SAT" appears below and a star flashes at the right side of it.

FX/SFX: The Earth, the light transforming into the S, the S spinning, POL zooming and the star flashing.

Music/Sounds: An ominous synth pad is heard, followed by a hit. Then a 5-note dramatic fanfare plays.
