1st Logo (1950s)

Visuals:

Variant: A rare French version exists where the background is a different shot, "SAINTPAUL FILM" replaces the former, and "présente" replacing "presenta". The screen doesn't zoom.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: A soft string and xylophone melody before heading to a rising orchestral fanfare.

Availability: Was seen on their first films/Italian releases distributed by the company such as Lo Spretato.

2nd Logo (1956-Late 1950s)

Visuals: It first fades to a picture of a stone carving consisting of five singing children holding a type of cloth, all while there are two sets of white transparent rings emitting from the middle of the screen. As it fades in, A white square fades in from the center and zooms in for a short time while having a blur effect. When it stops, the initials "S.P.F." with two white 4-pointed stars zoom on the top corners zoom appear and zoom out until it fits within the square. It stays static for a few seconds until it eventually slowly starts to fade out, as "PRESENTA" fades in the middle and quickly zooms in, stopping for a while. The logo finishes when "PRESENTA" zooms in for the last time towards the screen.

Technique: Cel animation and camera-controlled animation.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Appears in older films the company had distributed; so far seen in the release of Fanfulla da Lodi and Dio ha bisogno degli uomini.

3rd Logo (mid/late 1970s-1980s)

Visuals:

  • Mid/Late 1970s-1983?: The words "distribuzione sampaolofilm" in a stacked format on an azure, navy or black background.
  • 1983?-Mid/Late 1980s: The words "distribuzione sampaolofilm" stacked and in a serif font on a white background.

Technique: A still cel sheet with fading effects.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on several of their Italian prints of North American movies, such as Jesus Christ Superstar.
