Visuals: At the top of a white background is the Teletronics logo (The Teletronics "shutter" with "Teletronics" below) in a wide black box. In a black hollow box below, short blanks labeled DATE, PROD.#, and LENGTH closely align in thirds across the first row, followed by TITLE, PRODUCT, CODE, CLIENT, and AGENCY, which blanks extend across the slate.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, a 10-second countdown may appear in square numerals.
  • In 1983, the acronym "VCA" was added to "Teletronics" below the logo, thus becoming "VCA Teletronics".

Technique: A still printed image. 2D computer animation for the variant.

Audio: None. For the countdown variant, the beeping as the numbers appear.

Availability: Seen before the Star Channel (now The Movie Channel) ident appears, as well as before the Scandal music video Hands Tied.
