Background

Dreamz Unlimited was an Indian film production company founded in 1999 by actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla, and director Aziz Mirza. In 2003, the company was transformed to Red Chillies Entertainment after both Gauri Khan (wife of Shah Rukh Khan) and Farah Khan (an establishing director and longtime friend) took over position.

The company is not to be confused with the Nagaland comedy group Dreamz Unlimited, who are totally unrelated to Shah Rukh Khan's work.

Logo (January 21, 2000)

Visuals: Over a blue cloudy background (the same background used for the film's opening credits), a shiny shape is seen rotating close to the camera while the word "DREAMZ", in serif typeface, is reflected on it. The shape reveals to be a "D", which then settles facing diagonally to the upper-right. A streak then wipes in above the D. The words of "DREAMZ UNLIMITED", in the same serif typeface, then emerge one-by-one below the logo. The text glows, and a shine passes through the logo before both elements fade out.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A droning ambient synth at the beginning. When the streak appears, a swoosh is heard, leading to a majestic orchestral fanfare.

Availability: The logo can be seen in Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.
