Background

Eesti Televisioon is an Estonian free-to-air public broadcasting television channel originally launched on 19th July 1955. It is the first and main television channel in Estonia.

1st Logo (1992-1995)

Visuals: On a clear late evening backdrop, there is a sillouhete of a large deciduous tree. The tree's leaves move around a bit before the tree suddenly begins to morph into a spinning reflective model of ETV's symbol (a sphere with 9 lines going through it) with layered text below it reading "ETV". The model is tilted at a °5 angle and its reflection is that of the tree that it morphed into, and it continues to spin throughout the logo.

Technique: Raytraced CGI.

Audio: A melancholic, gentle synth horn tune with a bright finish.

Availability: Extinct, but could possibly be found on Estonian VHS tapes from around the time period.
