Electro Brain

Background

Electro Brain was a defunct game publisher that was formed in 1990 to release several games for Nintendo consoles. Along with THQ, Natsume, Majesco Sales and Sunsoft, they were one of the providers for rereleasing classic titles on the Game Boy. It was later a unit of distributor Electro Source. It was shut down in 1999.

(1991-1998)

Logo: On a white or black background, we see a head with red and blue static brains inside the head. Below it was the text "ELECTRO BRAIN" in a futuristic font.

Variants:

Sometimes, the word "CORP" is shown on the right.
On Best of the Best: Championship Karate, the face is absent.
Sometimes, the text was in chrome.
Sometimes, "PRESENTS" was shown below the logo.
On some games, like Best of the Best: Championship Karate and Jim Power: The Lost Dimension in 3-D, the logo was put onto the game's title screen.

Availability: First seen on the NES game of Super Cars and later seen on the NES games of Eliminator Boat Duel, Ghoul School and Stanley: The Search for Dr. Livingston, the Game Boy games of Brain Bender and Kingdom Crusade, the SNES games of Tony Meola's Sidekick Soccer, Jim Power: The Lost Dimension in 3-D, Tommy Moe's Winter Extreme: Skiing & Snowboarding and Vortex, the SNES, Genesis, NES and Game Boy games of Best of the Best: Championship Karate, the SNES and Genesis games of Boxing Legends of the Ring and the Nintendo 64 games of Dual Heroes and Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth.
