Background

Elektromis was a Poznań holding dealing in wholesale trade, sold in 1995 to Jerónimo Martins. The company was founded in 1987 by Mariusz Świtalski. The first warehouses began operations in 1990. In a short time, Elektromis became the largest wholesale network in Poland. Between 1994-2002, a lawsuit was filed in the area of customs fraud and illegal trade in Elektromis, resulting in a conviction of four out of thirteen defendants.

Logo (1987?-1990s)

Visuals: After a warning screen on a space background, it cuts to a black background. From there, a billboard fades in with a brown border, lamps, a sign with "INFO" on it, and contact information. It then cuts to the space background again, but a VHS with a brown header swings down from the top of the screen. "ELEKTROMIS" fades in on the top, followed by "PLUS S.A." on the label, and "PREZENTUJE:" below it all, with the font of that being bolder and in blue with a white outline.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A rock tune.
