Elliot Unger Elliot, Inc. was one of the earliest television commercial production companies, founded in 1948 by brothers Stephen and Michael Elliot. In 1959, Columbia Pictures acquired the company and merged it with their television division Screen Gems, forming EUE/Screen Gems
