Revision as of 03:32, 9 October 2023 by Camenati (talk | contribs) (Text replacement - "Logo:" to "Visuals:")

1st Logo (1966-1972)

Visuals: We see a laurel wreath picture, with a black background in a wreath frame. On a green or magenta tint background, we see 2 Chinese characters which translate to "ENG WAH" and 2 other ones translate differently the name in white. During this part, we see the words "FILM CO." in Chinese, and a ribbon is seen with film holes. The logo fades to black.

Technique: None.

Audio: A loud trumpet fanfare.

Availability: Seen on some films of the time. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (1971-1977)

Visuals: Same as the 1st one, but there is no black frame and wreath below. The text is translated to "Hong Kong", and "ENG WAH & CO. HK." is written below the ribbon. The logo is blue with some emitting rays.

Technique: Light effects.

Audio: A pasteover from the Lui Ming logo.

Availability: Same as before.
