Background

Eritrean Audio-Visual Institute is an Eritrean film production company.

Logo (1999)

Visuals: On a black background, a frosted blur effect diminishes and reveals an orange oval frame containing a drawing of a film camera with a wheat next to it. Inside the frame, the Arabic name is shown, followed by the English "ERITREAN AUDIO-VISUAL INSTITUTE" and the Tigrinya translation. The logo then rotates away zooming back, and the purple serif text "ERITREAN AUDIO VISUAL INSTITUTE PRESENTS", in four lines with the centre text having a wave design, zooms in before the screen fades out.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A synth theme.

Availability: The logo has been spotted on Dramatat Mealti Natsnet.
