Background

Export Film Bischoff & Co. was a film exporter from West Germany.

Logo (October 10, 1958-February 19, 1960)

Visuals: Superimposed over the opening part of the movie, there is a white, serif "Weltvertrieb" with the below being a white outline of a globe with stylistic wings at each sides. "EXPORT" in white, sans-serif, arched format is at the top of the globe and underneath is a filled of a rectangle containing a cut-out of "FILM BITSCOFF & CO." in sans-serif typeface ("FILM" is bigger and below it is "BITSCOFF & CO.") with 2 white lines at the top and bottom.

Variants:

  • On Ein Sommer, den man nie vergisst, the logo is yellow, the rectangle is outlined and the text inside is yellow and it's scrolling up.
  • On Gitarren klingen leise durch die Nacht, the text is thinner, and the "FILM BITSCOFF & CO." has no white rectangle and 2 lines above, not a cut-out and in cursive font.

Technique: A still superimposed graphic or motion controlled animation.

Audio: Opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on Das Posthaus Im Schwarzwald, Ein Sommer, den man nie vergisst and Gitarren klingen leise durch die Nacht.
