Background

Fairway Record was a French label set up in June 1993, releasing mostly compilations and mix CD's of various electronic genres. General manager was Daniel Goldschmidt, and artistic directors & conceptors were Jean-Marie K and Guillaume La Tortue. The label was shut down around 1998.

Logo (1995)

Visuals: On a black background, two yellow semicircles with a black word "RECORD" in an arc spin horizontally and two black & white rectangles with the inverted words "faiR way" spin vertically. They all zoom in and out, followed by a complete version of the logo appearing and the screen flashing.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A buzzing sound.

Availability: Seen on Hypnotic Trance.
