Farmers Insurance has more than 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and approximately 21,000 employees. The non-claims activities of Farmers are managed by an attorney in fact, Farmers Group Inc, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss-based Zurich Insurance Group.

1st Logo (2010-)

Visuals: The corporate 1940s Farmers Insurance logo slowly rotate in. A link to their website and byline are seen below as well as the text "auto | home | life | business".

Later Variant: Starting in 2013, the 1940s Farmers Insurance logo is replaced with the current corporate Farmers Insurance logo (a sunburst with a shield). Also, "auto" and "home" in "auto | home | life | business" are swapped and the text is in a different font, now saying "home | auto | life | business".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An army/chorus shouting "We are Farmers! Bum-ba-dum-bum-bum-bum-bum!".

Audio Variant: In some commercials, Nathaniel Burke (portrayed by J. K. Simmons) can say something after the jingle had been sung. Examples include; he says "Start with a quote at 1-800-FARMERS.", or even a woman announcer saying "Call 1-800-FARMERS and see how much you can save.".

Availability: Can be seen on most of their commercials.

Legacy: Like Stanley Steemer, Empire Today, and The General, this logo is known for its memorable and sometimes humorous jingle, to the point where it was sampled in "We Are Farmers" by Three Loco.
