1st Warning (1986-Early 2000's)

Visuals: Same as the 1981-2004 Warner Home Video warning screen, but has the "Title 17" info rather than the "$250,000 fine" info, "WARNING" is placed differently and bolder, and the picture looks cut off near the bottom.

Variants:

  • On most releases, the word "WARNING" is slightly bold.
  • On later releases, the warning text is in a different font.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on early Feature Films for Families products. [Examples?]

2nd Warning (Early 2000's-)

Visuals: Same as the late 1990's green variant of Walt Disney Home Video warning, except the text is in a different font on screen A and the lining is different on screen B.

Variants: On later releases, the Feature Films for Families logo (minus the text) is in the background and "VIDEOCASSETTE/DVD" is replaced with "PRODUCTION" or "DVD".

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Feature Films for Families products. The later version has also appeared on the 2005 Sterling DVD/VHS release of The Adventures of Scamper the Penguin.
