Background
FilmRise (formerly known as "Fisher Klingenstein Ventures" and "Fisher Klingenstein Films") is a free VOD service, film and television studio that was founded in 2012 by producers/financiers Danny Fisher, Jack Fisher, and Alan Klingenstein.
1st Logo (2014-2015)
Visuals: On a space background with a close up of the Earth in the foreground and the Sun in the center, the text "FilmRise" in an Impact-style font fades in and moves up from the bottom of the screen. As it stops in the center, the Earth and Sun fade out, and a solid yellow circle, representing the Sun, fades in and moves into place above "Rise".
Variants:
- A short version exists.
- 4:3 and 16:9 versions exist.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Three synth pings backed by an airy, dreamy synth pad.
Availability: Can be seen of a lot of FilmRise programming, such as some seasons of Forensic Files on various streaming services.
2nd Logo (2016-2018)
Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with "FilmRise" in the same style as before in white. As the text zooms in, a round line, resembling the sun from before, draws itself in.
Technique: 2D digital animation.
Audio: None.
Audio Variant: Some shows have a dreamy synth tune similar to the previous logo.
Availability: It can be found on select series distributed by the company.
- The best sources for the logo are on current prints of most episodes of Unsolved Mysteries, which can be found on FilmRise's various partners, as well as Amazon Prime prints of Totally Spies!, and YouTube prints of Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.
3rd Logo (2018-)
Visuals: On a black background, "FILMRISE" in a different font draws itself in via a double-layered effect (first in red, then in white). Two round curves are also drawn around "RISE", and the entire thing zooms out during the drawing.
Technique: 2D digital animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on all programming distributed by the company as of 2018, such as various Nelvana series on Tubi.
- It was also seen on pre-2023 digital prints of most of the Carsey-Werner library.
- It is also seen at the start of a late-2010s Tubi streaming print of the 1984 TV movie Invitation to Hell before the 1999 Carlton International logo.
- It is also seen at the end of a Tubi streaming print of the 1996 TV movie What Kind of Mother Are You?, following the 1992 Alexander Enright and Associates and 2007 RHI Entertainment logos.
- It is also preserved at the start and end of a Tubi streaming print of Choices (1986).
- It is also preserved at the end of Tubi streaming prints of High Times, following the 2004 Scottish TV endcap.
