1st ID (1997?-2014)

Visuals:

  • Startup: On a black background, the Moon is shown moving from the near-center out to the top-right while a nebula glow appears at the center. The nebula soon fades into a spinning Earth globe with turquoise-colored landmasses. A blue-glowing star then appear at the top of the globe and begins forming a blue circular line around it, as the background fades into another background consisting of several spinning globe maps (including another copy of the turquoise-colored globe). The globe suddenly morphs into a blue half-sphere which turns into the shape of an eye iris with a highlight near the top-right side. The formed logo slightly zooms in, and the black names of the company, "民視電視公" in Chinese and "FORMOSA TELEVISION" in English below, fade in below the logo.
  • Closedown: On the same moving globe background but tinted in cerise, a orchid-colored Earth globe with translucid sea masses, wireframes and darker-colored landmasses, comes out near the top and moves towards the center, before it is taken over by two forming parts of a blue sphere as it moves upward. Once it reaches the top of the screen, the parts of the sphere separate and move away while the iris shape of the logo is revealed. The star then appears forming the blue circle outline around the iris, as the background changes to a dark blue color with a white glow and a ripple emerging near the bottom. Below the logo, the white texts "今日節目已全部播映完畢" and "謝謝收看" appear fading in.

Technique: CGI.

Audio:

  • Startup: A majestic brass fanfare along with an announcer saying the station's name.
  • Closedown: A soothing synth bell and piano theme along with an announcer reading the text on-screen.

2nd ID (2013-2017)

Visuals: On a red/dark red/red bar gradient background with white bar lights moving at the center, multiple golden rings and semi-rings are shown floating around the screen along with different Chinese words in different colors zooming in behind them, as well as other squares appearing behind everything else briefly shown quickly zooming in. After a second, the light-blue colored word "FORMOSA" zooms in at the center, and the rings and semi-rings quickly begin to assemble a segmented circular shape that quickly rotates and zooms into the screen, as the letters of "FORMOSA" suddenly move away and a green shape forming a similar design to the golden circles shown before briefly forms in at the center. Meanwhile, the large golden text "台灣第ー" zooms and flips in to the top-center, and a yellow glow flashes in, changing the background to a plain red one, with multiple multicolored squares and rounded square outlines scrolling at the bottom-center of the screen, and at the front of them being the FTV eye logo design at the center in red-orange with two copies of the ring outline rotating towards the sides while it slightly zooms in. Next to the logo is the names of the company, "民視電視公司" in Chinese and "FORMOSA TELEVISION" below, both in white. The logo turns white as it keeps zooming in, while a flare briefly appears at the front.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Either a drum and bass theme, or a descending arpeggio leading to two cymbal sounds and a trance-sounding synth. Both versions of the music are accompanied by an announcer.

3rd ID (2017-)

Visuals: Over a multi-layered white background, a white sphere is shown at the left-center or at the top-center, with the text "台灣的眼睛" separated by two bars or one bar shown next to the logo or at the bottom of it. Multiple colors quickly begin passing through the sphere, being in blue, green, yellow, magenta and light blue. The sphere then separates and reveals the eye design of the FTV logo in blue. At the bottom, the text "FTV" or "民視" fades in below the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A generic pop-rock theme, or an upbeat fanfare. Both versions are accompanied by an announcer.
