Hi everybody. This question is for the longtime members of the logo community, as in those who remember not just CLG Wiki but the original CLG itself. Back in the 2000s I watched a lot of the Logo Surprises/Nightmares and even have some saved, and at the time I wondered what it would be like to make them. Unfortunately I did not have access to all that many logo videos (YouTube wasn't even around when these videos started), and there were many in-jokes I didn't get and still don't today (like the SFM++ deal). And of course as time has passed and Yahoo!Groups is gone, they have fallen out of fashion, and what seemingly new ones I do see are on the Internet Archive, not YouTube (because many have other copyrighted material). Still, with my birthday coming up, I got the urge to put together something like those featuring logos from 1987. I'm not the first person I do that but I'm certainly the first in a while. And I in fact have already put together the logo sequence along with the credits of the show I'm using (it's Doctor Who from 1987 with the 1987 Lionheart logo). That's the easy part, but I have questions:

1. Do I have to put all the CLG-related opening logos I see in the later ones? The sequences are very long and sometimes even have trailers for other projects (not doing that), plus I am not affiliated with any other CLG "companies".

2. Do I have to have an SFM++? A lot of earlier ones didn't, and I don't really have any 1987-relevant bloopers or whatever. Plus the video as I've put it together so far is already over 12 minutes & I want to at least try and put it on YouTube.

3. Is there an actual difference between a Surprise and a Nightmare? If so, which would fit my idea better?

I know this is a kinda dorky thing to do since I'm nearly 20 years late to this party but I guess this year I'm spurred to catch up with things I didn't get to do back then.
