It was a bad logo. It had to be, if it only appeared on Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984, the former a rare disappointment for Christopher Nolan and the latter highly contentious, and the 1998 logo with WarnerMedia byline was used on all movies in between, before being swiftly replaced. Seeing the 2021 logo for myself only underscores to me the flaws of the 2020 logo.

Well, I prefer the 2021 logo, which featured a view of the Warner Bros. Studios backlot with the iconic water tower.

It's gonna take me a while to get used to 2021, considering 1998 has been around for so long it's what immediately comes to my mind if somebody mentions Warner Bros. at all. That just leaves me with two questions: 1. How much longer is the 1998 logo gonna last? Its days are obviously numbered, so I believe 2021 is gonna bring a mix of it and the new logo as many movies had to be delayed due to you-know-what-19. 2. Should we really consider the 2020 logo its own? Honestly IMO it could just be considered some sort of early variant of the new one. But then again, I've seen a lot of fluctuation between what is considered a prototype/placeholder or it's own logo entirely in many different cases.

I think the 2021 logo should be separate from the 2020 logo. The 2020 logo is probably a placeholder. Both shields and the end product look different too. (The shield in 2020 looks more glossy)

I think the 2020 logo is just fine, though the new one is obviously a lot better.
