Five years ago, YouTube had Masters of the Universe (Cannon) available for free through the Paramount vault channel. Four years later it was on YouTube, but MGM was listed as the provider and it opened with the MGM Lion. Also, the first two Bill & Ted movies (Nelson) were included in Trifecta's Paramount packages as late as 2016. When the third movie came out, MGM put the previous ones of them for free on YouTube. I know this because, again, MGM was listed as the provider and only MGM logos appeared (though MGM made Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey available for free on YouTube sometime in 2010). Basically, what I'm saying is that I think that Paramount's TV rights for the Cannon and Nelson libraries have expired and have since reverted to MGM. I don't know if it affects all titles, but until we figure this out, I'm gonna update the Paramount info on both pages. |
