I personally liked the old logos better, because they were big and bold with unique fonts that grabbed kids' attention. These fit with the BBC's rebrand, but they feel way too simplistic. Of course, I'm American and wouldn't know about this without the internet....

BECAUSE OF COURSE!

Everything in this world is required to revert to simplicity! No seriously this trend is annoying now. There was no need for them to redesign the logos; they were fine as exactly as they were. Why couldn't they afford to keep it?

Well, as long as they don't change everything about the channels (God forbid). That's unlikely to happen.

As well as CITV, I think CBBC will shut down in 2025. Quoting Wikipedia: On 26 May 2022, the BBC announced plans for CBBC and BBC Four to be discontinued as linear television services in 2025 as part of cutbacks and other changes focusing on creating a "digital-first" BBC. Under the plan, CBBC would exclusively operate as a content hub on iPlayer, as BBC Three had done before it was relaunched in 2022.

Knowing Wikipedia it's probably just some hoax by an anonymous user just to stir up questions

WOW! Why do they have to make classic logos abstract nowadays?

Thanks HelloImYellow for the announcements, and it was the same day or week as Nickelodeon's 2023 rebrand.
