{{quote|i was mistaking, but there is almost complete version. https://youtu.be/2vU36uKRAEY}} You had me really confused there for a second. Do you think we'll ever actually find the full footage?
That's a fake lol
While I absolutely have no idea if the logo in full will ever be found, here's what you can do to attempt to find this logo: *Look for old recorded tapes of their shows (i.e. The Jeffersons, One Day at a Time, etc.), your best bet is from around 1979 to around 1982. *Check old commercial airings from around the time period on YouTube, in fact, this is how we got the footage we have right now. *There is an incredibly rare chance (around 99.999%) that Sony accidentally slips in the logo, but considering that they're most likely plastering the Columbia-TriStar Television logo, or possibly the Embassy logo, don't get your hopes up. But whatever you do, do NOT contact Sony or Mr. Lear for the logo, we don't want that trainwreck happening again.
Guys. Get serious. My Brother [[UserːRodneySystems2007|RodneySystems2007]] has confirmed many times that this logo is fake. Just like the spinning antenna variant of the National Educational Television logo. It's Fake.
{{quote|But whatever you do, do NOT contact Sony or Mr. Lear for the logo, we don't want that trainwreck happening again.}} What did they do?
Oh lord you have absolutely no idea what went down
no I don't. what happened I wanna know!
{{quote|no I don't. what happened I wanna know!}} Well, as far as I can remember, back in 2016 a user in the former CLG Wiki on Wikifoundry who was obsessed with this logo was constantly calling Sony employees to ask them to stop plastering the logo with the Sony Pictures Television one. They were eventually called out for contacting people for this reason, because it could prove hurtful to the website's image. That's what I remember, if there's more to it I think others can fill it in.
How about we instead ask Sony for a possible look at the logo or ask if they have any tapes of the TAT shows in the back
{{quote|How about we instead ask Sony for a possible look at the logo or ask if they have any tapes of the TAT shows in the back}} Out of the question. Too similar to the original incident to be worth it.
