The heads of the CLG have been talking about things for a while now. I talked to Stephen, I talked to Shadeed, I talked to Coley and it's time to take things back. It's time to run a tighter ship, bring together people who can run this tight ship and work together without in-fighting. This has gone on too long. I'm going to clean things up and I'm going to be demoting, banning people, all that fun stuff. If you want to work with us and make this a nice place, then you'd be valued, but if you fight with us, you're out. It's time for the change and I'm going to play cleaner. The moves I'm about to make may make some people mad, but I don't want to see anyone complaining or whining about it. Are we clear? |

You haven't really shown up much here and you haven't had people coming at you for any so-called controversial edits. People messaging you and questioning you, so you don't really get to talk about that. But see, I'm not here to take crap. I've seen some of it on Discord when I was there, questioning our moves, acting self-righteous about it. But if you don't want to be a part of that, then so long! |

with all due respect matt, you shouldn't be going absolutely berserk with demodding. HibiscusCrown became a good mod and actually handle the problems the site has. How come you barely moderate the site at all? Also, trans rights are human rights. |

"You haven't really shown up much here" Pardon my bluntness, but when just about all of the board members including you have been largely inactive on the wiki in recent years? I know my promotion was done without BoD approval, but it was done as an emergency because this wiki was facing a massive problem with sockpuppets and other trouble-making users at the time, and the lack of active admins then meant that such users had a huge window of time during the Eastern Time hours to screw around before being blocked. I apologize if I come across as egotistical saying this, but while I was admin, not only would I say that I've drastically cut down on the amount of time sockpuppets had to screw around, but I've also done a ton of work responding to the User Reports, keeping rule-breaking users in check and also wiped out a backlog of hundreds, maybe even over a thousand files and articles that were tagged for deletion but never got deleted and was going to purge a massive backlog of unused images prior to this. Now that I'm demoted, that huge window is going to be reopened and I won't be surprised if the sockpuppets come right back after their bans expire and continue their troublemaking. If you ask me, this decision isn't "bringing together people who can run this tight ship and work together without in-fighting", but rather is only further dividing the ship and is also creating an environment that is unwelcoming to editors. Plus , from what I'm seeing from the "if you fight with us, you're out" and "I don't want to see anyone complaining or whining about it" bits and your response to TheUsername15, and I'm going to be very blunt saying this, it's clear that you are attempting to censor any criticism of your decisions and, may I dare say this, makes it clear that these recent moves are an attempt at a powergrab. This is not how a head figure should be running a wiki, as it creates a hostile, unwelcoming environment (which may I remind you is not desired by Miraheze according to their Code of Conduct) and is going to drive users away from editing the wiki, and as someone who's also on the Discord server, I can confirm it's already happening. If you want to block me for saying this, go ahead. I'm done playing nice. |

Matt is right. I did approve of this, and he's doing exactly what he says he's doing as I want him to do it. We need leadership on this wiki, because I do not see the vision to where this site is materializing into. Forgive me, but there are too many flaws on this website that even I can't ignore. For example, there are too many blank pages and not enough focus on logos that need to be prioritized. Therefore, change is necessary in order to correct the course of the direction of this website, and I chose Matt to be our captain in this situation. From now on, whatever we do, is Matthew's final say. He's our leader that we need. |

Idk, but an admin named MatthewLMayfield has been abusing their power for a while before the rename. He's also a known transphobe. Basically. Matt and a few of his fellas have been trying to leave and start a new CLG Wiki, carrying the CLG identity on them. So goes the rename to AVID. |
