I'm curious what determines "graphic violence" or "gore" in a logo. For example, I remember the variation of the September 1995 GT Interactive Software logo seen on Blood and Blood II: The Chosen being marked as having graphic violence or gore in it, before it was removed because it was stated something along the lines of "that logos only should be marked if it has a sentient being involved with graphic violence or gore". However, it has since been marked again and has remained marked ever since. So does it deserved to be marked or not?

Outside of that, if it is true that only logos with sentient beings involved with graphic violence or gore be marked as such, then why is the Rolling Thunder page marked as such? It may have a meat hook stabbing something and having blood drip out of it, but a letter "A" is not a sentient being, so therefore I don't understand why it is marked as such.

My guess with the Blood GT variants is that the Blood II variant has a more realistic look compared to the original.

This reminds me of an RfC that was made a few years ago (Link:https://www.avid.wiki/AVID:Requests_for_Comment/Redefine_how_gore_would_factor_in_an_NSFW_logo), but like the other RfCs, it seems to have been completely ignored.
