|text=For taking screenshots of logos when I am on Chrome OS, I use the built-in Screen Capture tool. That's how I got the Cruella trailer version of the Disney logo. |

For DVDs/Blu-Ray discs, I use MakeMKV. If push comes to shove (weird disc structure, etc.), I'll just do a video capture. |

I also rip VCDs with logos via VCDGear, and I rip VHS tapes via MAGIX Save your videotapes. I record from television via Crypto, F&U, Biltmore and TV STAR decoders; I rip my recs via Avidemux in x264. |

A capture device for direct rips, Greenshot for screencaps, and OBS for online recordings (if I can't directly download the source). |
