This all started when I came back home from school, changed my clothes, and hopped onto my laptop to see what was booming recently. This is until I hopped onto the user reports section, and what I saw concerned me, and probably made me concerned for everyone I have talked to. For some backstory... do you all remember '''Prodigy012'''? On August 2022, he was blocked from operating various previously-blocked users and possibly using them to vandalize this wiki. This sounds familiar because the same exact thing happened but it has something to do with the user '''Poocian''' since it was found by stewards that he was the one operating the PARKEE IS BACK account and PARKEE RETURNS AGAIN account, which as a result, he was blocked. Forever. On the topic of blocking, another case scenario has something to do with former users '''Jeffersonkendric''' and '''Tobias Benson01''', where they were both permanently blocked for off-site sockpuppetry and hostility (which includes Logopedia and Wikipedia), both of which I thought were generally decent and somewhat trustworthy users, including the blocked Prodigy012 and Poocian. After knowing this, I became concerned because since the 2 situations has happened twice, I was convinced that it's not just the 4 users I have mentioned being exposed for their hidden antics, but I know for sure that someone else on this wiki, active or not, may also be doing the same thing like what said users did, and I just don't know it yet. It could be anyone, it could be you, it could even be users I regularly recognize on this wiki. It's just too good to be true at this point. I should probably be cautious on who I talk to next time.
There's also CrageMcle, who was really Jack Norris. Also, you can trust me. I am not a sock or anything. Honest.
{{quote|There's also CrageMcle, who was really Jack Norris.}} Neither of those two were trusted users like Prodigy and Poocian though.
The thread about him leaving makes sense now.
Actually, I’m not leaving, I am just concerned.
I was referring to Poocian's.
well my bad then
Still, it's all coming together. *kronk face*
Welp, my point has been further proven since I have noticed that '''N-Lite''' (formerly known as Cassie Grandstaff and Calvin Wilkerson) has been indefinitely blocked for... offsite hostility. ''Gosh darn it''
{{quote|The thread about him leaving makes sense now.}} I think Poocian was also sending hurtful messages because Dante was blocked until he turns 18.
{{quote|'''N-Lite''' (formerly known as Cassie Grandstaff and Calvin Wilkerson) has been indefinitely blocked for... offsite hostility.}} N-Lite's gone too?! Dante's gone, N-Lite's gone, how many blocked users will I be friends with? Hope my friends being wrongdoers doesn't mean someone'll accuse me of being a wrongdoer. Because I'm innocent, haven't done a thing (except that time I added the Dubbing Logos portal to mainspace without me putting anything on it).
It can certainly feel like things have gotten crazy and trustworthiness is low, but we're currently just going through a shakeout of new change and reforming - but it'll pass in time. It gets easier after a while. As for N-Lite, since I am now an AVID Discord moderator; I can provide some context onto his ban. He was offered ''numerous'' chances to explain himself as I was trying to query him regarding a Discord incident that was part of a series of them that I'd eventually get to with him - but after a day of complete silence and ''zero'' replies from him, we had no choice but to take action. I was gladly willing to work with him, getting his side of the story, and perhaps he wouldn't have been banned in the end - but he missed such a critical event which showed he blatantly did not care about being a good community member. We had numerous problems with his attitudes towards others, and fails to provide context or explanations as such - he's a "one and done" type of person, which while fine for some situations; in this context where he ''needed'' to provide some reasoning to help his chances, he refused and chose to hide instead. While we do understand some folks here had friendships with N-Lite and this banning proved to be a bombshell to them, I hope you understand what exactly happened that led to his banning.
Still, I hope my wrongdoer friends don't make someone blame me for something I didn't do.
You have done quite a few strange things all on your own. It will not be because of your friends if you are in trouble. It is worth thinking about your approach if you find yourself 'in the wrong crowd' though and they're negative influences in behavior. Either way you have every opportunity to change what is going wrong, and/or avoid the mistakes they're making, so the issue is never yours to worry about. Right now you're the only one worrying about 'guilt by association'. That's not an issue I assure you.
What's wrong with being strange and weird?
If you must ask, they become problems if you are unable to function in a civilized way. In that case you have a problem to fix. But if they don't do that then I don't think anyone said they were wrong.
{{quote|I think Poocian was also sending hurtful messages because Dante was blocked until he turns 18.}} Now that you mention it, he ''was'' pretty rude to us when Dante got blocked, accusing us of "not knowing what freedom of speech is.", yet we had a good reason to ban Dante.
Or there's that guy that you are being friend to is caught being underage and get infinitely blocked (Thesquidgeeks of course)
Oh wait that's not related
