Background

Foxx Hole Productions is a production company owned by African-American actor/singer/comedian Jamie Foxx.

1st Logo (August 28, 1996-January 25, 2006)

Visuals: On a shady blue wavy ocean-like gradient background, a thick pool-table-green circle with lime green around it spins like a coin and abruptly stops. A fox wearing a top hat, a tan jacket over a light blue shirt, and an earring on his right ear appears. The fox winks his right eye, shuts his mouth, then opens it again as the company name in gold zooms out onto the bottom of the circle.

Variants:

  • A slightly shorter version appears without the spin (most often seen in syndication prints).
  • Sometimes, the logo appears with an "in association with" tag at the bottom-right corner.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A smooth hip-hop beat. It was later replaced by an upbeat R&B sounder with multitrack scatting in harmony, with Foxx going "Dah-da, dit-dah-da, dit-dah-da" ending immediately afterwards on a single hit. On the syndicated prints, all four combo logos use Foxx's closing jingle, "Electrifying (Baby, That's Real)".

Availability: It can be found on The Jamie Foxx Show. Also seen on the TV special Jamie Foxx: Unpredictable.

2nd Logo (October 15-December 10, 2017)

Visuals: On a black background is a silver metallic fox's head with the company name in silver underneath.

Technique: A still digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on White Famous.

3rd Logo (January 8, 2023-)

Visuals: On a black background is an illustration of a fox running, split into parts and in different shades of gray. The logo, initially facing the left and blurry, is lit from behind by a ball of light floating from right to left. The fox flips to the right before the light exits the screen and a small lens flare forms the company name, spaced out in a white color, from left to right. Moments later, the logo quickly zooms in.

Variant: A still, print version exists.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: The animated variant debuted on Story Ave while its overall debut was on Alert: Missing Persons Unit.
