Background

Game Park GP32 is a console made by Game Park. Considered as one of the first open source video game console, the console had its origins back when South Korea had a law where Japanese products are not allowed to be imported to South Korea. This causes PC games to be the sole video game market in South Korea. South Korea decided to fund a company that would create a console, so they held a contest on who would be the one to start a console as companies from Japan has made its slice portion of the monopoly in South Korea. Game Park wins and get the funds to create the console. However, it went completely obscure in 2004.
