Gameloft

Background

Gameloft is a game company best known for its numerous games for mobile and portable platforms. It was created in 1999 as an affiliate of Ubisoft by co-founder Michel Guillemot. The company would later be bought by French media conglomerate Vivendi in 2016.

1st Logo (2002?-May 6, 2010)

Logo: We zoom inside a square orange tunnel (a la the 3rd Ubisoft logo), with cream silhouettes of everyday objects (in order: a soccer ball, 2 figurines, a joystick, a star and a heart). Multicolored squares and lines are also seen. We zoom a lot faster inside the tunnel, until we suddenly run into the orange letters "gameloft". The text emits an orange light.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: An electronic, synth tune is heard at first. A held, high-note choir is heard at the end.

Availability: On older games from the company prior to 2009, often still. The animated version appears on video-capable platforms. It was last seen on the trailer of Hero of Sparta II (the game itself uses the 2010 logo).

2nd Logo (January 2010-)

Logo: 3 blue lines fly in from the top right. They all form a silver letter "G". The "G" starts to brighten up, causing the screen to shake. Then, the letter forms a purple explosion, causing the letters "GAMELOFT" to appear. Lastly, the entire logo shines.

Variants:

Multiple still variants exist. They can either be:
- A steel version of the logo.
- The print version of the logo.
Asphalt 9 Custom Variant: We first see multiple shots of the silver "G". Seconds later, we zoom out of the "G", which is spinning, causing it to center itself. "GAMELOFT" is lastly seen, which is formed from blue beams.

FX/SFX: Same as the last logo.

Music/Sounds: Several whooshes, then a synth note and an odd xylophone-like noise.

Availability: Seen on all Gameloft games made since January 2010, sometimes in steel gray or on a blue background.
