Logo (April 24, 1954-October 11, 1957)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is an emblem consisting of a blue circular frame that contains a shiny crown above a red-gold seal containing a golden sailboat on the bottom and three Fleur-de-lis separated by a golden vertical line. The crown and seal are supported by two white-colored lions on both sides who both appear to be standing on a sky blue ridged plate containing "GAMMA-FILM" in red. Below the plate is a symmetrically formed yellow film strip displaying the word "PARIS" in black. On the bottom-left corner of the emblem, a golden "presente" in a cursive format is seen.

Variants:

  • A less-detailed fullscreen version was seen in La Pensionnaire.
  • There exists a B&W fullscreen version where the logo takes place on a more textured wall and its shadows and reflections are much more vibrant.

Technique: A filmed painting.

Audio: The sequence starts with a four-note rising brass theme, followed by a more bombastic rendition of the theme performed by an orchestra with an extra short note at the end.

Audio Variant: Some films use the film's opening soundtrack.

Availability: The colored variants were seen in Frou-Frou, Lola Montès, and the French version of La Spiaggia, while the Black-and white version was only known to appear in La nuit des suspectes and Paris clandestin.
