Logo (1957-1965)

Opening Visuals: The background consists of multiple blurred curves on a dark filled color. In front of the background, there is an image of a fancy, gothic gateway with a trail next to a grassy field behind it. "GATEWAY Film Productions", with the former in a tall blocky font and white shadow facing the right and latter two in a fancy font, is placed below the picture.

Closing Visuals: Against a black circle surrounded by gradient rings, the logo form before is below and on top of "PRODUCED BY" and "LIMITED LONDON,ENGLAND". The latter string of text is in between two white stars.

Variant: The logo may be shown in either black and white or sepia.

Technique: A painting filmed by a camera.

Audio: The opening or closing theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on many British educational films from the mid-20th century, which includes the Listening to Music series as well as Baden-Powell, Chief Scout of the World. The former is found on a Filmoteka 16 tape from Croatia.
