From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Background

This is the production company of producers George Schlatter and Ed Friendly.

Logo (September 9, 1967-March 20, 1972)

Visuals: On a red background, two white arrows curve and intersect, forming a connected "sf" which turns black (and the rest of the arrows fading out, leaving the "sf"). The stacked words "George Schlatter" and "Ed Friendly" fade in to the left and right of "sf" respectively, with "Productions" fading in below.

Variants: The logos succeeding this (namely the first two Romart logos and the first Motown logo) take place on the red background of this logo.

Technique: Standard (albeit choppy) 2D animation for the 60s.

Audio: A comical percussion-driven jingle.

Availability: Seen on TCB: Takin' Care of Business, Turn-On, Letters to Laugh-In, and Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. These shows are seen on NBC.
