Background

Green/Epstein Productions was founded in 1979 by Jim Green and Allen Epstein. In 2000, Mark Bacino joined the company, which was then renamed Green/Epstein/Bacino Productions.

Green/Epstein Productions

1st Logo (February 27, 1979-November 25, 1991)

Logo: Often inserted into the end-credits of a program. We see the text "ge" written out in a Mistral font. Below it are the smaller words "green/epstein," also in Mistral, and below that "productions (inc.)" in a regular sans-serif font. On some occasions, the "ge" text is absent.

Variant: On Shattered Innocence, it's seen with the Lorimar Television print logo. More info can be found about that on the aforementioned page.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on TV movies and miniseries of the era, most notably Stephen King's It.

2nd Logo (December 8, 1992-November 28, 1999)

Logo: On a black background we see some words being written that being "green/epstein" and as it's being shown the background brightens up to a more blue color and the words "p r o d u c t i o n s" stand up, after the underline shines too.

Technique: The words being typewritten, the background changing and the underline shining.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme music.

Availability: Seen on Double, Double, Toil and Trouble.

(November 5, 2000-2004)

Logo: On a black background we see a globe and a movie strip with numbers on it wiping in along with the text:

being wiped and the sparkles wiping it across and once it's done the text sparkles.

Technique: The globe rotating and the text shining.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme music.
