Background

Grupo Aguila was a Spanish video distributor company which is based on Ayala, Madrid. The company currently owns 2 companies at the moment, which is Video Joven and Roller. The company also distributed movies under the label Malibu Video.

1st Logo (Mid 1980's)

Logo: On a black-blue gradient space background, we see the golden "GA" shape with 9 golden stripes that resembles a wing, with the silvered "GRUPO AGUILA S.A." text next to it, with glowing stars applied onto it. The text "CINE/VIDEO Producciones y Distribuciones" is seen zooming in, moving & flipping itself into it's remaining position.

FX/SFX: The moving & flipping text.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availiability: Near extinction. This was seen on their mid-1980's releases.

2nd Logo (Mid-Late 1980's)

Nickname: "The Reddish Eagle"

Logo: On a black background, we see the text "GRUPO AGUILA" with a white shade rotating & zooming out, while a shape of an eagle is seen zooming & rotating in a blurry effect whilst it changes its colors. Then the text "PRESENTA" fades in. It fades out after 10 seconds.

FX/SFX: The text zooming & rotating, the actions of the eagle, then the text fading.

Music/Sounds: TBA.

Availability: Rare. This was usually spotted on their mid-late 1980's releases. This logo can also be seen on releases under the label Malibu Video.

3rd Logo (Late 1980's-Early 1990's?)

Nickname: "The Reddish Eagle II"

Logo: On a black-blue gradient background, we see the eagle from before, but now in red, which is seen moving & zooming in. The texts "GRUPO" and "AGUILA" slide & collide together as it forms parts of the text on white onto the eagle. The text "PRESENTA" is being typed in.

FX/SFX: The moving eagle & texts, the typing of the text.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Rare. This was seen on their late-1980's releases.
